Lacy Stump, M.S. LCMFT
Lacy has a passion for helping her clients develop as people so that they can live more meaningful lives. Often people struggle to confront the real problems in their relationships, themselves, and their partners. Lacy's work serves to get to the root of these issues quickly and to more thoroughly address the problems so that real changes can be made. She works primarily with couples on enhancing their intimacy capacity and positive connection, resolving sexual desire problems, moving through gridlocked issues, and improving their ability to engage in a collaborative alliance. Her therapy style is straight and to the point where she uses collaborative confrontation to talk to the best in people.
Lacy is a practitioner of Crucible Approach and Crucible Neurobiological Therapy (CNT) and trained with Drs. David Schnarch and Ruth Morehouse from 2016-2020. Crucible Neurobiological Therapy is a right brain therapy that works to create brain state change. This approach allows for very difficult problems to be treated, including acute and steady state regressions, as well as severe personality disorders that other approaches claim are untreatable.
Lacy is currently on the committee for the International Crucible Therapy Education Center where she offers various trainings including a monthly Webinar and a Crucible therapy consultation group.
Lacy completed her Master of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University in 2008 and is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and AAMFT supervisor.
Lacy offers training and consultation in the Crucible Approach. For more information please visit the website for the International Crucible Therapy Education Center or email her at lstump@c-counseling.com
